NEDAAB PICNIC / FAMILY FUN EVENING 2015

OVERVIEW
NED Alumni Association of Alberta (NEDAAAB) EC 2014-16 is pleased to announce NEDAAB Picnic / Family Fun Evening 2015 with NEDAAAB Members and their families. This is for the very first time we are planning for an outdoor picnic with lot of fun activities including live BBQ. Certainly, the event cannot be successful without your participation. We need your participation to make this event memorable, entertaining, and colorful.

In order to make this event colorful and full of joy, there will be following activities for the participants:

  • Picnic site with bow river access
  • Kids Playground
  • Cycling / Walking Track
  • Live BBQ
  • Sports Activities (Badminton, Cricket etc. – Participants can      bring their own stuff)
  • Kids Goodie bags

We are also considering some other activities subject to the availability of volunteers:

  • Kid’s entertainment: Face painting etc.
  • Nilaam Ghar: Full of family entertainment
  • Music: (Not with professional level singers but with NEDians)

PROGRAM DETAILS

The event will be held at Shouldice Park – Picnic site 2 (YELLOW), 4900 Monserrat DR NW Calgary AB, T3B 0C3 on Saturday June 13, 2015. Program details are as follows:

  • 3:00-4:00 PM: Gathering
  • 4:00-7:00PM: Picnic Activities
  • 7:00 PM: Dinner
  • 8:30 PM: Closing

EVENT FEE 
Event fee can be submitted online through PayPal using any credit card.

  • Single (Bachelors) Twenty Dollars (CAD$20)
  • Single Family (up to four, including children) Forty Dollars      (CAD$40)
  • Single Family (above four, including children) Sixty Dollars      (CAD$60)

IMPORTANT NOTE

  1. We are looking for volunteers! Those who are interested to      participate as a volunteer for this event, please present their names ASAP      to NEDAAAB Social Secretary Adnan Khan ([email protected]).
    We need volunteers for the following categories:

    1. Ten Volunteers for Live BBQ
    2. Five Volunteers for Event Management / General help
    3. Volunteers for Kids Face painting
    4. Volunteers to conduct Nilaam Ghar
    5. Singers/ Guitarist (Not necessary professional level)
  2. Please note that this is the preliminary program detail. Final      program agenda will be published one week prior to the event.
  3. Depending upon the response, we may consider opening the event      for NEDAAAB member’s guests and their families.
  4. Safety Instructions for the event to will be notified one week      prior the event.  All participants      are responsible to take care of their families and their guests (if any),      as NEDAAAB do not hold any responsibility for any misconduct and or      violation of rules of the City Park.

EVENT TASK FORCE

  • Currently NEDAAAB EC 2014-16 is looking after the arrangements      for this event. However, specific task force will be formed from NEDAAAB      members/participants who volunteer themselves for the event.

Please note that the event booking and payment deadline is Jun 7, 2015. It is recommended to submit your fee as soon as you register in the event.
