OVERVIEW
This course is divided into two sub-courses:
1. Personal Income Tax
In this course we will cover personal tax (T1), admissible expenses and how to maximize the tax return. We will also discuss how to conduct financial analysis of investment options and how to equalize and normalize these options for better decision making. Participants are encouraged to bring their income slips. We would also cover income tax softwares. The course would be interactive focusing more on participants queries.
2. Financial Analysis of Investment Options
In this course we will cover what are net present (NPV), future (NFV), Intrinsic values and how these are applied to normalize and equalize investment options. If time allows, basic concept of mathematical modelling for long-term investments will also be covered.

TIMING
- Total Duration: 7 hours.
- First Session: 9:30 AM to 11:10 AM
- Stretch Break: 11:10 AM to 11:20 AM
- Second Session: 11:20 AM to 1:00 PM
- Lunch/Pray: 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM (Lunch will be provided)
- Third Session: 1:50 PM to 3:20 PM
- Stretch Break: 3:20 PM to 3:30 PM
- Fourth Session: 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
INSTRUCTOR
Saffi Gilani has MBA in Finance and CPA. He has also done numerous courses on Canadian Tax Laws from SAIT and H&R Block. He has been providing Tax and Accounting Service in Calgary for last six years.
