Youth Program Diversification : Free Tutoring School at South Musallah – Registration of Tutors (Teachers)
The Tutoring School would be organised by Islamic Centre of South Calgary (ICSC-South Musallah) with dedicated support and guidance from MCCYC. Maasha-Allah, with excellent performance of Quran School in South Musallah, exceeding over 100 students since 3 years, and over-flow youth movie night programs, now, we would like to commence the Free Tutoring School at South Musallah to support our children attending CBE academic schooling
ICSC (South Musallah) invites to register the tutor’s names for teaching young children, from grade 1 to 12 in all subjects – English, French, Math, Social, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), etc. Please let us know your teaching option – either for volunteering or for payment basis. Graduates, University Students and enthusiastic persons who are willing to teach, are eligible to come forward in educating our Muslim Youth. 2. Subjects to offer: English, Math, Social, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), etc
3. Teaching for Grades: Preference to teach, specify various grades between 1 to 12
3. Duration: 2 hrs or more per week
4. Mode of service: Free volunteering or Work for Cash
5. Available day for teaching: Specify your convenient day and time – 9 am till 5 pm on Sunday and/or between 5 – 8 pm on week days (Mon, Tue, Wed)

Free Tutoring at Muslim youth Centre NW
As you may have heard, our community recently purchased a Muslim Youth Centre right beside the NW Musallah. This place will Insha’Allah be the cornerstone for Muslim youth development and the future of your community. We finally have a place where youth can be themselves and with proper supports, enhance every aspect of their well-being.
But rather than choosing the details of the programs for you and others, we need your help to make sure your opinions and views are being represented. This is your chance to be heard.
Currently, from 4 pm to 7 pm we hold after school study groups and homework help for Senior High School students (boys and girls) across the city. We are working out a schedule and perhaps a girls only day, junior high only day, Math only day, Diploma only day etc. So get your say in there now before its too late.
