Overview:

This course is perfect for those who are willing to start working for natural gas plants, and for those who have been working in the industry for many years but have never had the chance to grasp an overall high level picture of natural gas processing plants.

The course will cover a high-level overview of natural gas processing to understand the key processing steps required to make saleable products from raw gas (from wellhead to marketplace). The overall process block diagram will be used to illustrate how the various individual plant operations are integrated to create gas plants capable of handling feeds from gas fields.

You will gain a basic understanding and working knowledge of the major processes for design and operations criteria encountered in the processing and transportation of natural gas; product specifications, phase separation, gas sweetening, dehydration and dew point control and hydrocarbon recovery in plain language easily understandable for individuals either in technical or managerial roles.

It is designed for a wide range of audience, fully interactive and utilizes fundamentals to learn key points. Each section covers unit target, required product specifications, how to achieve, basic principles, major equipment and a complete picture of the unit.

Useful and handy reference charts, pictures, videos, diagrams and animation are included in the course.

Course Outline:

  1. INTRODUCTION
  2. Global Natural Gas &      Energy Outlook
  3. Gas Chemistry and Units
  4. GAS FORMATION &      RESERVOIR
  5. RESERVOIR TO GAS      PROCESSING PLANTS
  6. GAS PROCESSING PLANTS TO      END USERS
  7. Natural gas gathering and      plant inlet separation
  8. Sour natural gas treating      (Sweetening)
