Professionals involved in writing various documents such as Emails, Memos, Minutes on a daily basis which require improvement in different areas such as appropriate starting and finish, structuring, how to convey the intention in the most precise manner. To learn and improve all these, NEDAAAB is organizing Effective Business Writing Course on May 7, 2011 at Rocky Mountain College, Calgary.

The course will be conducted by Darlene Readwin (Professor Mount Royal University, Calgary) and Organized by Usman Khan, Adnan Ullah,Shah Kamal and Imran Akhter.

Scope

* Writing Clear,Concise and well focussed structures without emotions.
* Exercise: Working Participation should cover most of the workshop after some guidance to have better involvement of the participants writing in the workplace context-Most used means of communications such as emails, MOM, Introductions, Agenda,Memos, Executive Summaries.
* The writing process – analyzing the steps and discovering individual strengths – Few writing weaknesses can be discussed based on the initial feedback from individuals and remedies .
* Tailoring messages – considering audience and purpose to decide on the best language, format, and focus. Can be covered with the above item without going in too much details.
